"What do you want to be when you grow up?"

So often we ask little kids this question, but we don’t ever stop growing. So let me ask you seniors what do you want to be when you grow up?

Our life changes in each phase we go through, as small children we tend to have big dreams, but as we get older our dreams we think get more realistic….but do they? Or do we get tarnished into believing what this world tries to tell us that we can’t do this or that?

Then we marry and children come along and we “don’t have time to do this or that”. Then the children grow up and move out on their own, and then we say “We are too old to do this or that”.

Let me ask you this, do we let Satan deny us the privilege of dreaming big for the Lord and serving him in ways that would be very amazing! If we truly allow God to use us how He wants we could be so amazed at how He would choose to use us to honor Him!

For most of us senior citizens we have the most time we have ever had to serve the Lord, some of us are retired, for most of us the kids have grown and left the house, so let us put that energy to serving the Lord!

So let me ask you again, “What do you want to be when you grow up?”
